For those of you who keep coming back to this page to see what’s new, THANK YOU. And I’M SORRY. I started this blog right before the job in Denver came up. Once I got the job, all of my focus shifting to being successful in my new job. For anyone wondering, that includes trying to learn the ins and outs of a new city, making sure I’m getting things done for the fantastic sales staff trying to get me great clients to endorse, doing the Mandy Minutes for WHAS, figuring out the history of the political scene, learning about the people and the listeners and a bunch more little stuff. It’s exhausting actually. Or maybe that’s my new 3am wake up time that’s exhausting.
I’m not trolling for a pity party, just cluing you into why this blog has been neglected. Hats off to media people who never seem to run out things on their blogs. I mostly believe they have help. But as a complete control freak without an established voice on this blog, I’m not going to let anyone else do stuff here yet. Until I figure out exactly what THIS is going to be. I’m simply asking for your patience. My paying job wants me to create compelling content for the KHOW website, which I enjoy doing the same way I enjoyed doing my blog for WHAS. But I’m finding that my creativity is often spent by the time I get done doing my paying job stuff. Rather than let this site languish indefinitely, I’m going to start linking from here to my blog there. If you would be so kind as to click the clicky to get there and read it, I’d be mighty obliged. I will begin to create unique content for this website alone as soon as humanly possible. But in the meantime, go read this column inspired by a Thomas Friedman column about Syria. I think it kind of kicks ass. My column, not his. Feel free to comment on the blog site, that matters to my paying bosses. A lot. Thanks for following me, and thanks for all of your support.
